What’s the best free vpn I can get that won’t disconnect

Free vpn are not very good for streaming. Surfshark is cheapest lightweight and fast you can grab the black Friday deal its still live checkout the pin post of this sub

If there was a decent free one there’d be no paid ones!

No such thing as a good free VPN. I use surfshark worth every penny!

Free ones are shite, runs your speed right down, dig deep and buy Express VPN, you’ll not be disappointed. Check out the split tunneling feature when you get it, it’s a game changer.

You get what you pay for big dawg

I have Windscribe since 2017.
Bought a life membership at a bargain because it wasn’t really known at this time I guess.

Don’t know if this is still a great VPN or the price right now, but never encountered any issue and I was glad to see a firestick app.
Plus I like their sense of humor (tech humor) and they don’t seem to be into war sht, woke sht, or whatever else.

It just works, would 100% recommend.

Edit : arghhh, you asked for free VPN. I think they have a limited free membership, but I guess it will be too limited for intensive usage.

Not convinced I need a VPN… I watch anything I want and never got viruses or disconnects for years.

TunnelBear worked good. But limited. Now I pay Nord

IPVanish with the companion killswitch app works for me.

Nord vpn is pretty good

I was using Proton VPN until I came across this deal a year ago, and now it’s back.

AdGuard Promo

Check out this deal. 1 year $14.97, 2 yrs $24.97, and 5 yrs $34.97

up to 10 devices

Never had an issue with Nord

Depressing2k ,go into an android mobile phone and you will get 7 day free trial in Google play then cancel it ,no money gets taken for a week if you like it,if you don’t like it ,cancel and try another 1.

Pay for one, they are very very cheap. free VPNs are not reliable.

Here are some of the best free VPNs that are reliable and don’t frequently disconnect:

  1. ProtonVPN – Unlimited data, no ads, and stable connection.

  2. Windscribe – 10 GB of free data monthly with reliable servers.

  3. Atlas VPN – Good speed and unlimited devices.

  4. Hide.me – 10 GB of free data monthly and strong security.

  5. PrivadoVPN – 10 GB monthly data with consistent performance.

Free VPNs have limitations like slower speeds or limited server access, but these options are among the most stable and trustworthy.

I’ve been using hide.me for probably 10 years now. No disconnection issues at all

I know it isn’t free, but mullvad is only £4 a month

ProtonVPN would be my suggestion although it isn’t free

Agreed proton is it, and probably the only exception. Also if you’re having connectivity issues it’s due to a config issue not the VPN, 9 out of 10 times and very well could be what you have your dns settings set to or what device you are using, Again I just don’t suggest free VPN’s then again I suppose it’s better than absolutely nothing.

Just did a deep dive of why they are bad via a presentation I did for a low level tech firm and security conference. There is a lot to go into but you’re trading your data so it’s an oxymoron of sorts.

If money is tight, I get it, another sure fire and legit free to very inexpensive way to know you have a completely secure VPN is to make your own using AWS via Amazon services, I believe it’s now free for the first year OR up to a data cap, but it’s YOUR server if you don’t own your own local server.

I also would not purchase any paid promotion from your favorite firestick guys YouTube video , let me assure you they don’t care about your safety, and get paid well, there are different variables, I was paid $6k from a very popular VPN company, for a 95 second segment that was “original & my own” while scripted. If possible get a truly security driven VPN via locale and in the 5, 9, 14 eyes group.

Basically, I showed how bad free VPN’s are by showing the data and logs that they claim doesn’t happen, and technically I guess they don’t. They just call it Time-stamping now which really is the same thing. That, along with what data of yours goes over the network as well as the other stops it makes before it reaches the server you choose (typically some sort of google ad analytics service or sometimes worse), you’d be better off using a clean cracked VPN, than a free one as they aren’t truly free, you’re the product which I am sure you’ve heard before. I apologize to go in hard over such a simple question you asked but I’d rather you know the possibilities and possibilities vulnerable spots you may put yourself in.

I can share a clean crack if you’d like and obviously you can download your own apk from the AppStore or website , so you know there is no redirects , to something like someone’s private server, etc. I don’t really promote that either but trying to choose the lesser of the evils here , especially when there are current cracks out there currently for Express, ipVanish, Nord, and about 3 others , and finally finally , I can link you to a trusted source for multiple VPN’s if you insist on using one as well. .I just wouldn’t advise. Excuse the bump in, it’s just fresh in my head. Happy Holidays and be safe in whatever you do.

It’s 2025, a good VPN is the least you should be using to those raw dawgin the internet, talking about “ no need” or never will use one”, it’s a bad look and so ill advised.
