What’s the best free VPN for Mac which (preferably) has a no-logging policy, so the VPN provider doesn’t store your searches?

I tried a couple of free ones for my Mac, but they were either too slow or had sketchy privacy policies. So I ended up going with VPN Cheap because it’s affordable and actually sticks to its no-logging promise. It’s been smooth for streaming and browsing

From what I’ve seen on Reddit, NordVPN gets lots of praise. It might cost a bit more, but i think it could be worth it for the wide range of features, speed, safety, and for watching shows without hassle. Its NordLynx feature is especially good for fast and smooth internet use.

Surfshark is another one that people like a lot, it’s cheaper compared to NordVPN. It still has fast speeds which are perfect for streaming stuff online, and it’s got servers all over the place.

I’m personally a big fan of Surfshark. Their One subscription has a lot of great security features, like alternative ID and alert. This will either let you make a burner E-mail or phone number and scans the darkweb for any potential leaks of your main E-mail. Would recommend to try them out.

for some reason it doesn’t work on my mac even tho it used to work perfectly fine and it was always updated. i took it to the repair shop to fix the screen and now it glitches everytime i open proton vpn and it doesn’t work for me. any guesses on why would really help

It was due to these affiliate spammers having bots downvote anyone who call them out.

go to your settings and see if you messed with any vpn settings

I’d say it might be something with your DNS Server. I messed with mine a while back and for the longest time couldn’t download any VPNs or use tor browser. Proton VPN I somehow managed to download, but almost all other VPN sites I’ve been locked out of. If you don’t enter the EXACT IPv4/IPv6 back onto your DNS things like this could happen.

Maybe try an SMC reset? It basically resets all your mac’s pre-existing functions to what they were before you fiddled with them while preserving the data and memory. Just google “SMC Reset” and you should see instructions on the web for it.
