Hi. I’ve just come from watching a Linus Tech Tips video on VPNs and internet privacy/security. What you recommend for the best all round VPN, both for included services, price, reliability and security. Is NordVPN / SurfShark any good or is something like Private Internet Access (PIA) that Linus advocates for better?
Important is what is the main purpose of your vpn service. Privacy / Speed / function etc.
I used mullvad for over 3 years now and very happy with both privacy (they got raided but had no customer information so police left empty handed) and speed. I am on 1gbit link and get pretty much 700Mbps down which is a good compromise.
However some of the other vpn vendors are owned by big cooperation so I would stay away from them.
Yeah I heard (from Linus’ recent video) that NordVPN and SurfShark are owned by less than favourable people and store user’s information/details…
Will look into the ones you mentioned.
