What do you guys use for Enterprise VPN

We use Fortigate VPN. It’s buggy and our CTO and clients hate it

What do you guys use ? Any recommendations?

Looking for good solution that just works, we don’t want people constantly putting in tickets that they get disconnected from VPN

Also, do you guys experience tickets with people complaining about VPN issues ?

Palo Alto global protect.

Cisco AnyConnect runs stable af.

Our fortigate VPN works really well :man_shrugging:t2:

I setup Windows’ built in Always On VPN client to connect to an ipsec VPN we have on our Fortigate. This replaced the Fortigate VPN client we were using previously.

I did this just before the pandemic became a thing and it ended up being a bit of a lifesaver once the pandemic kicked off and everyone was working from home.

We’re using Pulse but will likely be migrating to Global Protect

Generally, speaking I don’t think we’ve had much problem with Pulse, just an extra expense/relationship that I think we’re trying to remove.

I’ve never had a problem with Pulse.

Edit: If I go back longer, I did use AnyConnect and some others.

No issues with fortigate, but the end users are actually using Azure VPN.

Global Protect by Palo Alto

What version of FortiClient are you using? We had issues with version 6 disconnecting, but 7 has been rock solid for SSL VPN.

Does anyone use WireGuard for Windows clients in an enterprise environment?

We use Palo Alto when ever possible, most of the time issues are resolved by rebooting the endpoint.

AnyConnect has worked flawlessly in multiple environments for me.

NetMotion is a great VPN. Been using it for 10+ years

Palo Alto Globalprotect
For all the ballache of configuring the Palo they are fucking amazing pieces of kit.

Admittedly their support and software QA teams have been on vacation for a couple of years it seems. But the globalprotect works great and nobody complained when I pushed software upgrades through the gateway.

We user GlobalProtect in a failrly large company. I am not involved with managing it, but as a user there are no problems at all.

Palo Alto and Barracuda.

Nothing works flawlessly, but these two are the least troublesome I have found.

I’m a PAN man so I use Globalprotect.

openvpn with google auth

OpenVPN on pfSense using Radius with DUO. Shit is rock solid - and it doesn’t have licensing fees.

We use forticlient as well. 5k end users globally. We had our fair share of issues at the start, but when you to know the product better it gets more stable.

Maybe you need more time with your setup.

I have use Cisco anyconnect years ago. I thought that worked pretty. I didnt set it up though
