I checked the support page for NordVPN, and they said that the issue usually arises from having a double VPN. I’m on my PC at home though, and my phone is the only other device using a VPN, not my router.
This seems to be happening with any autoconnection to the United States servers. Has anyone else been experiencing the same issue?
I’ve seen the same thing on occasion. Nord said it’s a US server but Google and other sites think I’m in the UK. I was not using double VPN. The only fix was to reconnect to a different server.
Are you actually in USA? Some sites try to determine your location using only your IP address. One common problem is the IP database they use is not always up to date.
I was having a similar issue this morning. I had to turn off auto connect to get it to work properly. I had auto connect set to Dallas and it kept connecting me to Kansas City.
