I have a subscription to CyberGhost VPN and would like to set it up on my Deck. Problem is, I go to their website to download and install their Linux version, but it asks me what distro I have, and none of the ones they list are the specific one the Deck uses. Is there a workaround for this, or will one of the available distro versions they have work (they have installers for a bunch of different versions of Ubuntu, Fedora, Mint 20, CentOS 7, PopOS, and Kali)?
Did you ever figure this out? I use Cyberghost and I’d like to put it on my Deck.
I tried an Ubuntu package since SteamOS is built on Debian, but the install failed in terminal.
Dont know if you have ever figured this out, but you can do this with Cyberghost by downloading the openvpn configuration file then loading that openvpn file to your network connections in steam os desktop mode. You might get an error that its missing some packages to manage vpn connections but I followed this guide to fix it.

Thanks, yeah, that’s what I eventually ended up doing.
Bummer. No worries. I did notice that one can download a NordVPN client in the Discovery app on the Deck in Desktop Mode. I’m probably gonna give that a try. I got dinged by my ISP for downloading Super Mario Odyssey for Yuzu haha.
Hey man! can you please explain a little what you did to install cyberghost on your steam deck, including what you did with that link above?
Unfortunately, I mooch my VPN off my dad, so not an option for me unless I wanna start paying, lol.
