My school blocked VPNS what do I do?

I used to have to use a VPN in order to even get a text message through now that they blocked it I can’t do anything

You need to get a VPN that supports port 443(https), 80(http), or 53(dns). Also, don’t use free VPN’s, they are bad news. Check out www.thatoneprivacysite.com for decent VPN reviews.

Why downvote this…

connect to vpn through ssl or ssh

How do you need a VPN to get a text?

CitizenVPN supports port 53. The app gives 1 day free access, just long press a flag and select Restrictive to use port 53 or try the others too.

What about tors vpn?

How do I do that? Is there a VPN that will do that automatically?

They blocked Verizon messaging so the only way for me to receive text was with my VPN on

Does this get around vpn blocks

Don’t. Psiphon is ridiculously easy to detect. I know this because I work in a school as a technical support liaison often often get reports from the district’s network engineer about which students are running it. Trust me, whatever it is you think you need to do during school hours, using the district’s internet, is not really as important as you feel it is.

We have periods in the day where we might not have a class and we’re allowed to use our phones

Tor is not really a VPN, also it’s pretty slow.

you can use AirVPN , they have their own app and through it you can connect automatically with ssl or ssh

How the hell does a school block a private data plan?

Sorry, but no. A school does not have that power unless they actually own/control the device. If it is their device then obey their rules.

It depends on what a block you have. It is free and has good reviews of the app’s users, anyway you r not missing anything.

Tor actually has VPN called orbot

Wi-Fi Calling and texting is on most carriers maybe op talking about that. He could have no service

That is an android app that uses the android VPN feature to force all connections through tor.

Tor is Its own thing

Look into a tor bridge on that site. It may get.you out if they block tor connections and vpn

Thats what i meant so for some reason put a VPN on would fix it bit now mu school blocked vpns
