Hi! Im not british, have never set foot in the uk, im mexican and live in mexico. I want to watch a show using a vpn and the site asked me if i have a tv license.
I clicked “i do” just to see what would happen and the site just let me?! They didnt ask for my id or anything!!
Can i still watch the show or will they find a way to fine me?

If your not in the uk, the likelyhood of them finding you is miniscule. Iplayer has been slowly getting better and better at identifying people behind a VPN and not allowing them access to watch the shows.
If your VPN is working just click yes and watch what you want to. Chances are eventually your VPN will be added to its blacklist and your access will blocked until you find a new VPN server thats not blocked.
If you sign in just use a disposable email that your happy to drop and forget about. Its easy enough to google a random postcode.
It’s fine. It also works with ITVX which is another UK broadcaster - though they have some ads in their shows.
