Hello, I’d like to watch some shows that are unavailable to me and I need a VPN. I know free ones aren’t always the best, but to be honest I can’t afford to buy one or have monthly fees right now. Is there a free vpn that will just get the job done while also being safe?
Have you tried proton?
Free and safe VPN is generally not a possible combo. Most will sell your data so they can keep the servers running and earn a profit. Maybe a few that have premium tier and free option with queue or time limits but I still wouldn’t trust them
If you want it for a short time you can get Mullvad for 5 or so bucks for a month without any subscription.
I wouldn’t trust any free VPNs.
Mullvad is €5 per month. Period. No long term commitments needed to get that price. It also doesn’t have auto renewal and you will need to top it up manually.
I wouldn’t trust a free VPN. You could just get a one month free trial and then cancel once you’ve watched whatever it is that you wanted to watch.
Best ones proton and Mozilla. Cheapest one I’ve found PIA which is totally ok in terms of speed locations and connexions, but if you watch ltt you know the rest, still a solid VPN
Opera bowser has a free one idk if it’ll suit your needs but you could try it
This is the classic quality triangle question, quality, value and time, or in this case free, safe and good.
You can only have 2, you can have safe and good, but it won’t be free, free and good but it won’t be safe, dunno a out free and safe though
If you don’t pay for the product, you’re the product. There is no safe and free option.
Mullvad if paid on the other hand is great.
I would not trust a free vpn. it is not a service that is free, or even close to run and operate.
This is like asking “What are some sources of free money that are good and safe?”
Thanks for the award I appreciate you
What’s wrong with PIA?
Free and safe wouldn’t be good. It would have to have extremely restricted data limits.
- Us company so it responds to US data resqusts by law (but theyve proven their no logs policy multiple times so not a big issue for me)
- They’ve ben bought by a shady VPN company, again, nothing against them for now, but a thing to know before buying.
- Not the fastest VPN out there, I’m getting between 20 to 50 més, which might be enough, but I wouldn’t say fast.
For full transparency I am using PIA and I am really happy with it, but it has some cons that need mentioning. Again, best options are Mozillas and Protons, but they are double the price. So it depends on whare you live, freedoms in your country and how much you want to pay. If you live in a country with restricted freedoms go for Mozilla or Proton, outside of that, your choice both are good for their price
