Can anyone suggest a free VPN on Firefox?

I saw this “Urban VPN” and hopefully find some reviews about it here.

Has anyone tried it??

Here’s the thing about free VPNs:

They are either trial versions or they collect your data. Urban VPN will do the latter thing.

You can use the VPN if you want to, but if you’re gonna do something that’s, perhaps, “shady” in your region then don’t even try. The VPN will maybe keep you safe from the websites accessing your IP, but it won’t keep you safe in any other way.

So the thing is: buy VPN or don’t.

But here of course the most important thing to know is the use for that VPN.

What’s your use case?

Adguard VPN. It has exclusive feature, which only turn on vpn if you launch specified website

Get a good paid one instead. https://kumu.io/sobeyharker/vpn-relationships#vpn-company-relationships

there are NO free vpns, that you should EVER use.

the potential and i say potential only one, that MIGHT be acceptable is the proton one, because it is used to upsale you to the paid option, so they might sell your ass in the process.

but i would suggest against it.

question: are you just not aware of torbrowser?

or are you aware of it, but some bullshit website is throwing bricks at people using the tornetwork?

in case you are not aware: the torbrowser should be used to access the tor network.

the tor network is actually anonymous (unlike almost all vpns, that sell your ass or keep data on you, that they shouldn’t)

so you wanna get around some geo blocks, use the torbrowser!

can you guys suggest any other free VPNs aside proton?

Unless you’re looking for circumvent geoblocks or avoid DMC notices, VPNs really serve no useful purpose at all.

But, to answer your question, I’ve never heard of it and wouldn’t consider using it.

dang , i just want it to use on moviesites, Some tv series are not showing on my local connection :expressionless:

The free version is not available on the extension

Do you have an updated link for this?

Can you use torbrowser for example some things for different prices in other country’s such as a ufc fight pass subscription in maldova comes with ppvs for 5.50$ can confirm this method works with vpn would it work with tor?

thank you for suggesting this, I wasn’t aware of Torbrowser, and it did exactly what I needed

you mean torproject?

The above comment is a bot. They have exactly one comment and it is this one

All the free vpns I’ve tried have been too slow to stream. So would recommend something like nordvpn which has an app for every device and an extension for Firefox. It’s only a few bucks per month.

proton vpn is kinda a pain at times, but it gets the job done

If what you mean is that: “I wanna go and watch some Murdoch on BBC/I wanna see anime on Netflix Japan.” then that’s a-ok. You can use pretty much any free VPN that works. Sure, there’ll be annoying stuff like limited speed, ads and limited usage (and data collection), but that’s that. For this I’d say something like Proton or Privado could maybe be, but dunno.

But if this is something like, dunno, watch it from some “shady unauthorized” website then I’d say you’re better off not doing that. You can always test out the timed trial versions of paid VPNs if you want (such as NordVPN (which is Android, MacOS and iOS only)), there shouldn’t be any problem there, but it of course means that you gotta see whatever you want much quicker than you’d have to when you pay for it. And what you have to take into count is where the company operates. For example: “USA? No go. Panama? Yes yes.”

But yeah, which ever case it is, that’s how it is.

The only free version I found is the VEEPN. Just found it now lol

I do. Super weird how it just changed. Here’s the new one: Kumu
