I started the year with a complete new PC setup. Threw out my old PC, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, desk etc (Everything). All of it want a given to me by my dad because he did not need a PC (He already bought a laptop). I used the PC setup for years and I finally gave up on it. The PC is about 10-14 years old, has 2gb of RAM, windows vista, and a ancient 2 core 2ghz CPU.
I just couldnt handle the slowness and decided to build a new PC with a Ryzen 2600, 16gb RAM, and a RTX 2060 (used). I then bought a 144hz Monitor etc. Now all thats left is a VPN. And I want the best of the best VPN, fast, extremely secure, private. Price must be less than $15 per month. I kept looking at websites and such but all of them have different VPNs and its really hard to choose. My Top pick right now is Express, TORGuard, and Vypr.
tunnelbear, expressvpn, mullvad, windscribe. Those are the most legit ones that don’t have any speed issues or sneaky pricing. I’m currently using tunnelbear
Smart DNS Proxy has worked flawlessly for me since I bought a lifetime subscription few months ago. Apart from this NordVPN, Express, PIA are all on my list personally.
Stay away from Tiger VPN. After 3 years with them, they decided to charge me 6 times at the beginning of 2020. I tried to contact support multiple times to ask why with no response. I cancelled the paypal auto payments to make sure that they didn’t do it again in Feb and they immediately disabled my account. So, they pretty much stole 5 payments from me and wont respond to any emails. Crooks.
-I dont get ddosd or ip leaked from gaming
-Keeps me safe and private from insecure networks
-Can access websites that are blocked in other countries
-Avoiding detection from other people
-Be more secure when downloading “illegal” stuff like free games or movies
Unfortunately, I heard they got bought. And the company that bought them aren’t as good at the things that made PIA awesome. I’m currently shopping around for a new one.
I’m very late to this thread, but: I just started the process to get TorGuard, and apparently your basic password can’t contain special characters? Only letters and numbers? Is this real life in 2020 for a company that is supposed to be providing state-of-the-art internet security?
Mullivad keeps logs. ProtonVPN, keeps logs. NordVPN, guess what? Keeps logs! ALL of the VPN providers that say they don’t keep logs… guess what? They keep logs!
