Everything in this guide is good, except I would instead use nordvpn, which is more stable for streaming. There is a free trial and discount in this post.

Cheapest countries that work with any card (sorted by price): Peru, Romania, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Chile, Algeria.

Thank you, you are a life savior. As of 25/01/2025 this trick still works. Nord ->Brave->Kazakhstan->Wise. I also got first month free.

Worked for me - Brave browser, Nord VPN, Revolut virtual card

my india family sub that had been working for ages was canceled today and i could not resubscribe and it would not accept my card.

i used this method on android:

use nordvpn to Kazakhstan

then on firefox mobile open a new in private tab (incognito mode)

go to google, search youtube premium, if you get to the page where it shows pricing then its going to work

signed in with my indian account

Then used my chase bank card to pay for the sub ( chase bank uk has no foreign currency fee )

for the address i found an address of a random hotel in Kazakhstan which was accepted

i was paying about £5 for family sub in india, kazak family plan works out at £7.94

from what i can see it looks like Poland, Algeria method also will work with this.

Thanks, does it work also with turkey,India and other cheaper countries?

The revolut card still works?

Will it work for android??!

Sadly not working for me. I’ve tried a few times over the last couple of days and either they are aware of the location hopping on my account or it is Geo blocked. I’m receiving the error message “we couldn’t identify your country”

Thank you, it worked! My original account was set to Argentina and I got the dreaded email saying they didn’t think I lived there and cancelled my account. Was surprised to see that this method worked without having to change the location of my account.

Your method doesn’t work for me, unfortunately. But thanks for sharing. I was just able to subscribe via Poland for less than 6€ per month using Chrome and HotspotShield VPN

Worked for me. Thank you. Youtube family. £8/month

GhostVPN-> Kazakhstan->Brave->Revolut

Does this has to be done on a new google account? Can it be done on an existing one?

Worked perfectly for me. Thank you.

I live in Bulgaria and i am searching for more cheap method than this one tbh, i havent tried if this works or no, i just share my opinion on the situation.

This method still works - even on an already subscribed account (to another country).

Thanks a lot man!!

For anyone having issues with this method, worked for me with Surfshark, Peru, Revolut virtual card £6.50/month for Family plan. A bit annoying because it was about £2.50 with Ukraine

Can I just put Algeria as the country of my German credit card? It says just cards from Algeria are allowed

As of 4th October 2024 this method still works. I used the VPN and browser the method recommended and it all worked.

I tried to do it with Pakistan and Peru first as they’re cheaper than Algeria but I kept getting the error “we couldn’t verify your country”. I ended up switching to an Algerian VPN and it went through.

The address bit was abit difficult though as the first hotel address I put in got rejected because the post code was “invalid” so I recommend:

  1. Searching up Algerian post codes on google.
  2. Test the post code works on the YouTube address input page.
  3. Go back on google and put the post code followed by “hotels” in the search box.
  4. Put the details of whatever hotel comes up that has the same post code.
