Wireguard ( Nordlynx on nord vpn ) is the fastest and best.
If you have a terrible droppy connection use Ikev.
If you have tons of packetloss use OVPN tcp.

Actually they reroute your traffic to p2p server internally then , the issue is in my experience it wont be the closest location but actually a far away one reducing traffic speed simply by that.
