If anyone’s used it, how is it? I tested NordVPN on my Apple TV and I am unsure if it works haha. Any experience/reviews?
Works just the way it’s intended to. I use ESPN+ in Canada that’s geo locked to USA only
NordVPN worked for me. I watched an out of market NFL game on the local NBC channel using the network’s app.

I am using ExpressVPN, and it works great for me. I got it on Albania for YouTube, so I don’t have to worry about Ads 
Using Tailscale. Works as advertised.

I would caution that it depends upon the app you are trying to use. For instance, I use DirecTV Stream. It does not respect the VPN at all but rather requests location from the Apple TV. Apple TV in turn ignores the VPN for this and instead seems to use some voodoo magic to divine its location from geotagged neighboring Wi-Fi. I tried everything under the sun to spoof the Apple TV location without success. I’ve had success with various VPNs for other apps though.
So, back to the original question, it depends on the app.

Use Speedtest app. It will tell you the isp/ip during a speed test and then you’ll reliably see the difference when connected or not.
Try changing your location in the VPN to Albania and watching Youtube. Supposedly YT can’t show ads in Albania, so if there’s no ads, then the VPN is working.
I like SafeShell VPN. I pay 49.99 for a year and there’s no slow down in speeds at all.

I just installed Express VPN on my Apple TV and now I just need to have time to watch something to confirm it’s working.
Has anyone had issues with the TV app on Apple TV not recognising the VPN? All standalone apps work, however, i cant watch Apple TV channels, I get the “this is not available in your country/region” error
