Hey y’all, I built my first pc and it’s from used parts. For some reason, every time I connect to vpn, my provider thinks I’m in south Africa and I have to manually tell it to choose servers in Dallas (closest) every single session.
The time zone and country in the OS are accurate, is there a bios setting i need to change?

There are a number of reasons this could be happening.
Operating system language pack? If you’re South African it could be picking up on the language your system is using.
It could be the VPN is load balancing and selecting a node with lower usage (you didn’t state which VPN provider).
Have you accidentality selected SA as the default option, or remember my settings, again depending on the VPN provider you are using.
Some BIOS’s have language settings, however, you haven’t provided any information regarding your configuration or motherboard.
