VPN in Cuba - No App Store

Hi,

So I’m in Cuba and I didn’t realise the regime they have in regards to blocking certain applications. Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, my Revolut is also blocked along with the App Store on iPhone.

Is there anyway to get vpn downloaded from a webpage rather than the AppStore I’m not having any luck finding a legitimate one and badly need to transfer money.

Thanks everyone!

Edit: Found a vpn for iPhone that works so I can use apps and currently downloading a vpn app. Instructions and a link below

If you have an Iphone you have no choice but going to see some tech center that install apps for Iphone. It’s a very common practice since we Cuban use this method to install a VPN to download from Appstore. You just need the Vpn, otherwise you will depend from this repair guy to upgrade any app you install. I recommend you the VPNs Psiphon and Proxy Master, wich are very used in my country.
PD: Instagram, Facebook and others are available in Cuba without VPN, but you will need it to install from the Appstore.

“I didn’t realise the regime they have in regards to blocking certain applications.”

Its not the regime its the USA doing the blocking…

“Adictos al iPhone” is a little shop where you can get all things iPhone… VPN and other necessary apps.

You should not have come to Cuba my friend.

Anyone have another server that works, currently in Cuba, tried the video suggestion but didn’t work :frowning:

Edit:
I followed the video, and my app is updating right now. Thank you!!

I’m a Canadian in Cuba. I need to update my airline app in order to have in-flight entertainment. It’s not an emergent issue in any way.

Unfortunately, I did not foresee the good ole USA and their petulant childishness interfering in my use of my device on my holiday.

I have an unlocked Android phone with a VPN. I have disabled location services on both my phone and iPad, fired up my VPN on my phone, and set my location to Toronto. Then, I used my mobile hotspot to provide WiFi to my iPad.

Nope. My iPad still refuses to update. It still knows I’m in Cuba.

you just saved my life

You are in a concentration camp !! Therefore there no way !! Everything is controlled by the Regime

I don’t think you can download a vpn straight from the internet there in cuba. I don’t remember the name, but there’s a app that most people have that shares apps via Bluetooth to other phone with the app. Hope that helps

The fix from the edit no longer works sadly :frowning:
Has anyone found a solution?

Edit: still works, it’s just extremely slow. What I did was go to the App Store, start downloading a vpn app (express vpn in my case). Once the download started, I disconnected the vpn a the download continued through the regular wifi connection.
After downloading the vpn app, I signed in, and all issues disappeared.

It worked:sob: thank you guys soooo much u all life savers!!! :pink_heart::light_blue_heart::blue_heart::orange_heart::purple_heart::yellow_heart::green_heart::heart:

You’re a life saver. Been looking all night and your video did the trick!

Yes, mostly all the repair stores have the installing apps service. At least you gave an address, I am not from Havana so I don’t know an specific place

Hey, I am trying the info from the video now and it’s not working what are the steps you did I need help pls

you don’t understand. The App Store like many other stores and banks is blocked by US and not by cuban government. also try to open some cuban websites from within USA then you know what censorship means.

But there’s always a way my child

You must be thinking of Zapya
