VPN does not work for me pls help

Please help. The web resources on troubleshooting have not helped. I’m using the anyconnect VPN and I’m logged in and it’s working with the checkmark showing and everything. I still can’t access anything through the library. If anyone has had issues like this and knows the problem PLSPLSPLS help Jesus christ this is frustrating.

You are using the desktop Anyconnect client, correct? Make sure under Group you are using 2stepsecured-allthruucsd for library resources. Make sure to respond to the Duo push as well!

Spilt will send UCSD sites through the vpn, but since most library resources aren’t on UCSDs network you’ll need to use allthruucsd. You can check that it’s working by going to whatismyipaddress.com and making sure the location is UCSD

yes, I am using anyconnect. I downloaded from the windows 10 tab from the ucsd VPN page. There is no “groups” tab on it for me. There is only a single dropdown window that has VPN.ucsd.edu as the option and that is what I’m connected to. I just uninstalled and redownloaded, but with it running, I’m still unable to access library resources pages.

When you press connect, this will pop up. Make sure it says 2stepsecured-allthruucsd.
