I think this is their way of preventing the use of AI assistance. ZeroGPT is not reliable, and as such they can act in error, while others circumnavigate around it. By seeing who is accessing AI’s while they work, the client can very accurately pounce on those that provide AI generated work. I do not think that YouTube or Spotify, etc., will be an issue.

I never found a fix for that particular issue, but I’ve been logging into the VPN in my computer settings, and also logging into the Global Protect website, clicking the SRT link on the website, logging into workplace that way, then I just close out and open Outlier and SRT the regular way.
My computer shows that the VPN is still connected, and I have not had anyone tell me that I’m not in compliance with using the VPN.

Ok yeah, I think I will do the same. I am connected to the VPN through my Internet settings and logged in on the Global Protect website. I reached out to support and sent screenshots of the unusable SRT homepage and they just said to refresh lol when it has literally never worked. I appreciate your input.
Right? Second laptop, virtual machine instance not connected to VPN, that’s two GIGA easy ones off the top of my head.

I don’t know anything about the difference with being remotasks or outlier, but it might be because the URL for SRT through the VPN’s site is for remotasks, and I only have outlier credentials. That could also be why outlier gives the link to SRT with every task. So it recognizes that we are outlier and not remotasks.
Again, idk if that actually makes a difference or not. It’s just an assumption because I have no other answer for why the SRT site looks that way when I try to go through the portal on the VPN’s site.
