TLDR: Got Nord to watch a show I thought was streamed in another region. Show wasn’t available in any regions. Had 30 day money back guarantee processed in roughly 5 minutes.
I wanted to share my experience as someone who just processes the advertised 30 day money back guarantee that Nord has on offer as I hadn’t seen, from a quick google of the subject, any recent posts about it.
I had recently bought Nord as I was hoping to watch a TV shows that wasn’t available on a local streaming service that I thought was available in another region and then planned on if I found more shows I wanted to watch continuing my subscription or otherwise cancelling. Unfortunately I found out that the show I wanted to watch wasn’t available in any region for streaming so I went to look up how to perform the refund.
I was a little disheartened when I saw that there was no way to do this without contacting customer support and suspected this was going to be a drawn out lengthy process like similar experiences I’d had with other “free money back guarantees”. Fortunately using the live chat and getting through to customer support I was able to cancel my subscription and process the money back guarantee in roughly 5 minutes . All this was done with minimal resistance other than them asking me once if I wanted to wait a little longer as I was only a few days into my subscription but they promptly took a firm no and moved on processing.
So overall, great experience doing this and I thought I would share just to highlight this for other people who might be a little nervous going for this.
I will note, apparently there is a 5-10 day wait to physically get the money back in my account so if I have any issues with this I will definitely provide an update in this post.
