If you use TOR do any companies have anything in place to detect your using TOR?
This, sums it up better than my hot headed self ever can.
Amen son.
That’s not what the wiki says on Tors website itself.
No logs
You trust VPN providers to not log?
It does tell you why.
Just one of the parts of the script
or even if you used a semi-private payment method, such as Bitcoin you would have likely at some point logged in your VPN provider using your real IP address that will then be linkable with any sessions you make over Tor, due to using the same user account.
Basically, a VPN over Tor setup realizes on your VPN provider keeping to their no-logging policy, which you have no way of auditing.
Now stop lying.
Maybe you should learn how autism makes some things harder.
I have never downvoted anyone in this thread or the /r/tor thread and I can prove it if you want.
I am not the first person to say this but I will reply as Pro-VPN people do te same thing.
That would be a good set up.
and for the rest of the world?
op is special ed who cant speak and thinks that all vpns track your data.
You should always use Tor browser.
You don’t know the danger of a fixed gurad.
It is not misinformation.
I’m tired of trying to teach my perspective on this matter if it falls on his deaf ears.
Read the above threads with me in them.
Think what you like.
It’s neither good nor bad for your security if you know who you’re signing your data to.
Demonizing something over fear isn’t right, especially when playing with half a deck, and superstitious what maybe and what ifs against definites.
They would mostly be valid under a different title
At the end of the day, someone is going to know you’re up to something.
100% security is a Myth, and it’s definitely not what I’m selling.
But it is definitely not what he’s selling either.

Actually there are a few VPN’s who have had to prove that They don’t keep logs - https://www.techspot.com/news/82259-keeping-private-5-vpns-have-verified-keep-no.html
Same for your ISP.
But ISP knows far more about you than a VPN has to. ISP certainly knows your location, almost certainly real name and phone number, etc. With a little effort you can give all fake info to a VPN; they sort of expect it. Better to use a VPN. Logging by a VPN would be less damaging than logging by your ISP.
Logging what? My Tor traffic, that in your scenario, that your ISP can’t even read in the first place?
I’m done here, I see no point in continuing this timeless metaphorical representation of the old saying.
The one that involves playing chess with a Pigeon.
I have an Undergraduate course in ICT-Data security to brush up on, and my earlier estimated few minutes here is exponentially getting longer.
