I got the same notification as well, I only used it once while I was away in a different country and I had completely forgot I installed it, safe to say I no longer have it on my device.

Dude I used this vpn till I got educated on the risks of using a free VPN, I never got a notification like this but it makes me wonder if any of my data got compromised or not

A same stuff happened to the official Formula 1 app. The hacker got into the notification server and sent a push notification with “Hmmmm, I should check my security… :)” message. The scariest shit I’ve ever seen

The only free VPN I trust is tunnel bear. The only problem is that you only get 500mb each month but because of data roll over i get like 12gb now.

I downloaded this app today and used it for 2-3 mins maybe and then I deleted it. Then when I looked at the plastered data collection, it says it collects images and videos. I’m really scared and confused. I searched this app’s name and this post popped up. I’m scared after reading it. Will I be in any trouble? R there chances of my accounts getting hacked or something?

Ye for sure, I tried to tell them. Its crazy how this is one of the top vpn apps on the play store and someone who doesn’t know better can have this happen to them
