I paid $89 for a 3-year plan. But how much will I be charged after auto-renewal

I received a 3-year offer from NordVPN in 2020 and have used it ever since. The offer was $89.

I have a new credit card now and auto-renewal is on. So I received this message:

Your payment information is outdated. Update it now to keep your subscription active.

But does this mean that I will be charged $89 for the next three years or does the offer no longer apply and I should pay the new subscription price? In that case, I don’t think I will renew the subscription. NordVPM has not specified this.

I always turn off auto renewal after renewing my subscription. And you’ll be charged the new/updated price so it’s not worth it anyways. What I do these days is, whenever I find a cheap 1 year or 2 year deal, I just buy it so it adds to my existing duration. Been doing it for 2 years now.

Find any online offer and renew, it just adds it to your existing account.

Some of the slicker deal websites have some current deals for NordVPN combined with a Malwarebytes antivirus license. You can pick up a couple of these for two years and it’s about half the price of a single year renewal. NordVPN licenses are stackable.

Same here, my account says “Active” 3-year plan $89, set to renew in August 2023…but I got a feeling that def isn’t going to be $89 again. much less than another 3 years since I bought that 3 years from a 3rd party website several years ago.

I keep getting deals from them for huge discounts on “incogni”/“Nordlocker 2TB” /Nordpass, but they already gave me access to Nordpass and Nordlocker so all I’m looking for is to renew my subscription for at minimum 2 years without it being more than $95.
