I need a vpn to use for free at least for a few days. I know paid versions are better than free trials, and my thinking process is if a paid vpn has a trial, then I can get the premium features for free. Ok, I don’t know any vpn with free trials, and the only one I’ve gotten on google is vpncity. So kindly guys, help me with suggestions because I really need to torrent stuff this week. Thanks.
Most of the top VPNs have money back guarantees so you could just pay for a month and get your money back if you really needed to.
Surfshark is probably your best bet after that with a 7 day free trial if you download the mobile app first as far as I remember.
Mullvad or Windscribe are cheap enough to just go with it. Windscribe has a free feature for 10 GB a month.
We designed SatoshiVPN so that you can get your own private VPN server for 1 hour/day at no cost to you. There’s no risk of getting billed since we do not collect any user information.
And here’s a guide on how to use WebTorrent with SatoshiVPN: https://satoshivpn.com/learn/stream-torrents-with-webtorrent
NordVPN is your best bet.
All these don’t need credit cards:
- Private VPN: the king of free trials, 7 days free with all features and you just have to sign up
- Proton VPN: queen of free trials, same as Private VPN, but private vpn is generally better
- Cactus VPN: 3 day free trial
- Astrill VPN: 7 day free trial, but you need a phone number
- Ivacy: 1 day free trial, you only have to sign up
- Cyberghost: 1 day free trial, no sign up
But please don’t be a dick and abuse these free trials.
If I remember correctly, purevpn has such money back guarantee for a couple of days or maybe even 7 days (I don’t remember what is what back then) BUT only 300mB transfer limit, so if you connected to a server then ran back to back speedtest then the money-back guarantee is void.
Protonvpn free cannot do torrenting
Proton has a trial that they give you for making a new account, but don’t be that shitty person by abusing it.
If you like it, please pay for the service.
No free trials man. Only 30 day money back guarantee.
Eyes are not the problem. Testing and the reputations of the companies suggested are.
They do get orders by the courts but since there is no data, there’s nothing to give. OVPN just went through this in court and won. No data means NO data.
Governments can’t order private companies to do anything they don’t don’t want Apple being the most visible case.
Again, it’s about the actual companies involved. The jurisdiction is irrelevant.
