How safe is Atlas VPN?

A few youtubers sponsored it but the whole thing is a little strange to me. I looked everywhere on reddit but no one talks about it nor are there any good reviews of it.

That’s because it isn’t any good or safe. VPNs are judged on how well they hide your IP and how much they keep your info safe or don’t collect logs.

Almost certainly a honeypot.

Most likely an undisclosed white label vpn

Apparently began operating last year as a ‘free VPN’ Android (iOS?) app, 50k reviews there. If you assume they’re all organic (real) then it’s not bad. Starting May this year they launched the current marketing campaign. Their ‘blog’ on the website has 50 pages worth of news/VPN-related talk since allegedly early last year, probably just to boost it on search engine results.

Whether they fulfill your criteria of ‘trustworthiness’ is totally up to you.

It’s weird that on the website’s landing page they compare themselves to HotspotShield, Cyberghost and Tunnelbear.

LOL if you want to hear the end all argument though: They don’t support crypto. I would end privacy talk here.

PS: No port-forwarding?

tbh, i’m using this VPN now and so far everything works fine considering torrenting and in general online privacy with the features, it offers (especially with the premium version). The thing is, with all fairness to Atlas VPN, it’s a much more recent product and it just started to appear in the market so maybe not so many users know it/tried it and that could be the reason why there are not so many reviews/talks about it on Reddit.

So which do you recommend? Is Mullvad the very best as told in this subreddit?

I’m just asking lol, ease up. Reddit moment.

undisclosed white label vpn

What does that mean?

And now they won’t respond to my sponsorship after questioning them lmao, these are some scammers ngl

Mullvad is king. The pay as you go feature is great at only $5 a month.

Explain why Mullvad is king please

Just proving my point, he even deleted it lol

They have stood up in court to produce that they indeed keep no logs so no info can be given. It also doesn’t leak anything on Ipleak.net

Most people on this forum like low-marketing high-value-proposition VPNs like Mullvad, Torguard (cheapest I know), etc.
