Google is without a doubt one of the worst tech companies in history.
Unfortunately, if you want some sense of stability, the only phone to buy is Samsung.
America is on fumes.

I got Google one just for the VPN. I don’t use the storage. Glad I didn’t buy a year in advance, I’ve only had it since December.

Honestly, I used it twice and wasn’t impressed.
Several times it wouldn’t connect and it wasn’t fast enough.

Whenever I need VPN on my phone for something, I connect to proton VPN. Even the free one works miles better.

It worked like 25% of the time for me. They had some good automation built in but I rarely got to use it.

I have Google One in Brazil and never knew it even offered VPN somewhere…

I have a Pixel 7 and didn’t even know there was a Pixel VPN. I’ve just used Surf Shark

This was one of the reasons I was going to pay for the full Google one subscription. Will have to reconsider.

I used it daily for my plex server downloads. Pretty annoying. Saw some one on hukd post about windscribe being available for £15 for 12 months so grabbed that.

What is the Pixel VPN? I have a P8P and only know of the Google One VPN.

Lol I literally switched from Dropbox to Google drive cause I needed just a tad more storage and the VPN was also a factor for only $2 a month. Now I’m just gonna make Dropbox work since I prefer it for storage and get another VPN

That sucks, I just got it and was so happy to have it because my ISP shares the line as a reseller so I normally get all sorts of captchas and the past week without that anymore has been great.
