Pretty straight forward.
Started using Salad about 2 weeks ago. No issues to report.
Crypto Mining / Higher Permissions are disabled.
Bandwidth Sharing is Enabled.
However, recently I received blanket bans from Disney Plus, Hulu, and Starz streaming services. They all come back to me and tell me that I’m using a VPN service.
I have VPN’s but I don’t use them frequently and haven’t since installing Salad.
I’m assuming foreign traffic is being bounced off my IP address resulting in me being listed as a VPN provider.
Any solutions beyond stop using Salad and requesting a new IP from my ISP?
Turn off bandwidth sharing.
Bandwith sharing is enabled
Your best bet is probably to disable Bandwidth Sharing - Performance tab > Configure hardware > Configure workload types manually > Untick Video Streaming.
You could also try contacting your ISP about changing your IP address after disabling Bandwidth Sharing.
I had the same problem with Hulu. Disabling bandwidth sharing will resolve it. However, it will take a few days for the streaming services to allow you access again.
Contact hulu. Same happened to me. Somehow I was flagged as VPN and they had to have a senior IT person dig into my account and resolve. They said sometimes accounts will get “flagged” when they shouldn’t have been.
Gotcha
If you choose to ever switch it back on, just contact Hulu when it happens, and they can resolve it as well. I went route of leaving mine set for sharing. I haven’t been flagged since resolve.

I’ve turned off the bandwidth sharing as others suggested.
Seems to have done the trick. Basically people bouncing off my IP address from countries the streaming services don’t support.
So you get flagged.
So the only streaming service I contacted was Starz. Who told me I was using a VPN. They said that the only way to resolve was to contact my ISP.
Which obviously wasn’t helpful.
Bright side I canceled like 4 streaming services I forgot I was even paying for lol.
