Free VPN to access a Turkish website from EU?

Hi everyone!

I live in EU and I wanted to check some furniture (and its prices) on Turkish IKEA, but I cannot access it from EU (no idea why the limit it, but whatever).

I was checking some VPNs (e.g. NordVPN, SurfShark, Privado, Proton) and none of them offers Turkish server in ther free plan (Turkey is locked behind paid plans).

Another one I found is Urban VPN, but reviews are bad and saying that there is zero security in using that vpn.

Are there any SAFE VPNs Turkish people living in EU use to access some Turkish websites?

I dont know if you have tried it but you can try change the domain part (for example site.co to site.tr)

I’m unsure as to how safe they are to use but web-based proxy solutions such as ProxySite exist and are likely enough to fulfill your need here.

Use Windscribe, the paid version is like 3 bucks for Turkey VPN. There is no free lunch.

IKEA prices in Turkey are cheaper but what are you going to do? Bring a whole couch back?

Proton, Mullvad, IVPN and Windscribe are the best ones

The prices are the exact same as the currency. For example in Germany if something costs 100€, it will cost like 3500-3600TL in Türkiye. I’ve never seen any region specific prices, at least not in products I was interested in.

Tried “ikea.tr” instead of “ikea.com.tr”.

Also, no, I am not planning to bring anything back to EU. I wanted to remotely buy a gift for someone in Turkiye.

Have free plan , but no server in Turkey.

Mullvad

Doesn’t have a free plan, but costs just $5.

If I don’t find anything better, I will use Mullvad.

Many digital items like games or monthly subscriptions are cheaper with turkiye

Then i dont know a certain solution maybe try tor browser
Much slower compared to vpn but should be safer

It should work, I’m in NL and it does work, try from a private (incognito) window maybe.

As far as I know, it’s nothing nefarious but I haven’t read any comments to the contrary. You may want to do your own research but using it once or twice for small tasks isn’t likely to be terrible.

You can make a custom plan. Pick Turkey and one or two other countries and it comes out to 3 euros. You dont need the full unlimited plan that’s 8 dollars.
