Did you know your Microsoft 365 subscription includes access to a free VPN at no additional charge?

On PC (also ARM-based) and Phone.

pay for a product

free

Nice try

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I would trust a vpn run by microsoft about as much as I would trust one run by the CIA.

Yes, because I was really dying to find a way to help Microsoft hoover up even more of my personal data than they already do.

Did you know Edge has a free VPN built-in?

It’s limited to a few GB a month but is great if you only need it for basic stuff

Good guy Microsoft cares about your privacy!

“We pinky promise not to log your DNS requests” - Microsoft

I did not know. It makes no difference. I will not subscribe to Microsoft 365.

The one in edge doesn’t let you change your geographic location. If this is the same thing, it’s kinda useless.

Yea, paying for a product gives you a product.

Did you know if you give your bakery 5 dollars you get a FREE sandwich?

I paid for the product.

Not available in my country.

Hahaha. Also, I will never be onboard with an Office subscription model. I truly hate it.

Fair point. I don’t exactly trust Microsoft, heh. And also, I will never subscribe to 365.

What personal data do you allow them to have?

Oh, and here I was getting excited. That won’t work for me. Sticking with Express.

Don’t most VPN services require an app?

All of the data they collect from you simply by using windows. More if you use OneDrive. More if you use Edge. Yet more if you use Office.

You can turn some of it off, but they’re still collecting some, no matter what.

That sums up every antivirus and internet security…
In fact defender has improved so much that most paid solutions in the market is now unnecessary…

It still is annoying… but I literally stopped paying for BitDefender (because they changed their services and removed some into separate paid ones). And now the free defender is perfect for me. True I lacks ease of use, but is free! Thus it’s better than the rest.
