So I started using Clash VPN on my phone last year. I tried setting it up from GitHub on my laptop. It seemed to install ok but when I copied the proxy link (from teacat) it didn’t work anymore. I also tried with wannaflix but it doesn’t allow me to switch profiles.
Maybe I downloaded the wrong asset from github, is there a way to figure out which one I need.
I don’t wanna use astrill as it’s more expensive but not really any better than clash in my opinion. If anyone has other alternative VPNs please let me know <3
Did you input thr proxy link in thr correct place?
I feel your frustration. Every few years it seems I need to switch VPNs, and a lot of them have bad setups. I was using wannaflix, it was good for a while, they have like 3 programs you get. I just started using a chinese one called duangcloud. Easier to set up and use and pay for, however every once and while there’s something it doesnt’ want to connect to.

Clash is a great software btw, i use it on my windows, mac and android
Yeah so it turns out it does work - I watched YouTube. However I can’t use it to start discord. It always says “update failed” when it’s loading up and checking for updates. It does that even when I use astrill… So frustrating
That’s probably something wrong with the proxy server. Did you try shadowrocket ?
be sure to enable the System Proxy option (general), then it should be fine. I can run discord without any problem with this settings (clash + wannaflix)

Wired, probably you should consult the clash developers.
It’s so strange, even when I switched to astrill, discord wouldn’t update. But on both I could still watch YouTube. Maybe it’s my WiFi idk
