I bought a subscription to a vpn that I could install to my router. I can’t reach customer support. Paid on PayPal too. The issue is a pop-up that says I’m running windows 7 and need to install a win 7 patch. I’m running win 10 but I changed the layout and file manager because the win 10 layout was so clunky. This is not the only vpn that did this btw. It took me about 2 weeks to debloat win 10 and make it almost bearable. I plan to go linux but until then…any insights into what the vpn is reading or ways to get through?
Typically you don’t need to even use your PC these days to add VPN to router. I’ve used my phone plenty of times to get a vpn on to my router. The windows version you are on shouldn’t make a difference. Maybe your router is out of date?
