AirVPN Review 2023 (10 year VPN user)

Hi all, I’ve been using VPNs since 2013, and of all the VPNs I’ve used, AirVPN has been one of the best overall.

AirVPN Pros:

Crypto payments

smart email support

Good prices at ~$6 per month.

Good amount of servers.

DNS tracker blocklists.

Multiple Optional Obfuscation technologies

Protocol and Port configurability. OpenVPN, WireGuard, many ports available for both protocols.

Linux, Mac, Windows, Android (and maybe more) GUI apps. Good setup guides. Fast speeds

Cons: VPN app is bloated , and usable but slightly slow on low-end hardware.

Areas to improve:

Lighter VPN GUI app.

Audited Eddie GUI app and server infrastructure.

Overall, AirVPN is amoung my most highly rated VPNs and I recommend using it for any type of VPN user. I’ve played FPS games like Battlefield 4 with it, and MMOs like World of Warcraft. I also enjoy the forums on AirVPNs website

Thanks AirVPN team.

Please stop posting the same thing for all different vpn companies… we can see everything you post… aliens, drugs, and vpns It’s all public

I’ve also used vpns for 10 years, all with AirVPN. I’ve been satisfied with it. The only con I’ve seen is that because some of the US servers are blacklisted as a domain so some sites refuse to allow connections. I have to disconnect to access them.

+ positives: good price & commitment discounts (which is a tricky thing to do). Port forwarding and its rich GUI. privacy friendly. Finally Wireguard.
- negatives: the vpn is blacklisted a lot, so you won’t make connections to lot of websites and apps. routing isn’t great (m247 garbage), the latency is high (and now that i installed it on opnsense with granular views, the evidence is clear), the speed is low (and limited to just 1Gbit). That’s valid longterm (5y).

Far from 1st choice, but not bad.

Each review is specific and correct for each vpn provider. Each review i posted is true. All the VPNs i reviewed have similar features and i adjusted the reviews to reflect audits or no audits specific to the VPNs history.

There is no reason to stop posting because my reviews are legit.

I know my posts are public that’s why i posted them dumbass

that’s just IP blocklists, that can happen to any VPN company and isn’t a flaw specific to AirVPN.

yep. probly the most blocked vpn. not even a warning, but timeout. i have to switch to other VPN. of course, i will never “disconnect”.

->airvpn is my backup vpn. if the main goes off, this one is activated asap.

Just out of curiosity, what is your first choice?

This isn’t even the same account name as the OP of this post lol. How many accounts do you have mate?

Like every other privacy and quality oriented customer, M****d.
