2.5.10 broke my atlas vpn

I was running on 2.5.8 because the update installer wasn’t working for the longest time, the app was buggy but it was stable and worked just as well as any other time. Then I reinstalled it so I could get the newest update and now Zero servers are available. In my WiFi selection on windows now atlasVPN Ikev2 connection pops up and (seemingly) I can’t use my vpn anymore without connecting through the adapter.

The adapter says action needed and makes me log in, but the login does NOT go through at all, and so I am basically blocked from using the application.

If there is a way to downgrade versions please let me know, also let me know if this is a known issue or a workaround

If you have the same problem I’ll paraphrase what the staff team sent me and it worked perfectly

Run windows power shell as administrator

Paste following commands into power shell and hit enter
(netsh int ip reset)
(netsh int ipv6 reset)
(Netsh winsock reset)

Restart computer

Open device manager

Expand network adapters category

Find WAN miniport IKEv2

Right click and uninstall

Repeat for any other device with WAN miniport in the name

Click the action menu bar

Select scan for hardware changes

(All WAN devices should restore)

Restart computer and then connect to Atlas VPN
